Day Twenty-Two
The final day of holiday.
The final foreign belly-kiss.
An easy start, breakfast of scrambled eggs – a favourite of my lovely wife. Then a visit to the local cafe for final drinks in the sunshine before finishing the packing and loading the car.
The drive back was uneventful. Plenty of bio-breaks and lots to drink. We got to the ferry with plenty of time to spare so we stopped at a local hotel for dinner before getting on the boat.
As a surprise for my lovely wife I got us an upgraded cabin for the journey back. As well a free mini-bar (soft drinks), fruit basket and macarons, we were offered breakfast in our cabin with our choice of hot drinks.
My lovely wife slept well on the boat. The upgraded cabin was a good idea and a great end to the holiday.
